The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Garden Maintenance Gardener in Cranleigh. This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday. The salary for this role is £28000 to £35000 depending on experience. This Garden Maintenance Gardener in Cranleigh role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about horticulture and enjoy working outdoors in all seasons. You will be working within a professional and supportive team, maintaining high quality gardens and building strong relationships with clients. Immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out garden maintenance including lawns, hedges, borders, irrigation, terraces, and pathways
- Prune, shape, and train plants including perennials and orchard trees
- Support planting and landscape development projects
- Maintain high presentation standards across all sites
- Build positive relationships with clients and provide guidance on garden care
- Assist with training and mentoring junior gardeners
- Travel between sites as required
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in garden maintenance or horticulture
- Good knowledge of plants and garden care techniques
- Level 2 horticulture qualification preferred
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
