We are currently recruiting for a Landscaper to join a small specialist design and build landscaping company based near Cobham, Surrey. This is a full time permanent position offering a salary of up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. The client is also happy to consider candidates working on a CIS basis at £200 per day. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded landscaping company delivering bespoke garden projects for private clients across Surrey and South West London. The majority of projects are located along the A3 corridor, including Cobham, Oxshott, Esher, Weybridge, Guildford, and surrounding areas.

The role will involve a strong mix of hard landscaping and general landscape construction, with work including paving, decking, setting out, garden features, planting, irrigation, and soft landscaping. You will be working on high-end private gardens where accuracy, finish, and attention to detail are essential. The successful candidate will be confident reading drawings, measuring and setting out accurately, and working to a very high standard. You will also be comfortable working independently when required, supporting labourers on site, and communicating professionally with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out high-quality hard landscaping works across private garden projects
  • Complete paving, decking, patios, pathways, and general landscape construction
  • Measure, set out, and interpret landscape drawings accurately
  • Work with a range of premium materials and finishes
  • Carry out planting and soft landscaping as part of completed garden projects
  • Assist with irrigation installation where required
  • Work independently and as part of a small team
  • Support and oversee labourers when required
  • Communicate professionally with clients on site
  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
Requirements
  • Strong landscaping experience within private residential or high-end garden projects preferred
  • Good hard landscaping and paving skills
  • Experience reading and interpreting drawings
  • Good measuring and setting out ability
  • Experience with decking, planting, irrigation, and general landscape construction beneficial
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
