Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Private Estate Gardener to join a welcoming family at their beautiful private household, located in a picturesque village on the outskirts of Andover.
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm, offering a salary of £38,000 per annum.
This is a varied role combining professional gardening with estate support, including light property maintenance, animal care and occasional driving duties.
The successful candidate will primarily maintain the gardens surrounding the family home, ensuring they remain tidy, well-presented and manageable throughout the year. In addition, you will assist with general estate duties, care for the family's animals and provide occasional driving support, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied working day within a private household.
As the family travel during the year, they would ideally like someone who is happy to stay at the property while they are away on holiday to provide security, care for the animals and ensure everything continues to run smoothly. A self-contained studio annexe is available for your use during these periods, providing comfortable accommodation separate from the main house.
Due to the rural location of the property, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as the estate is not accessible by public transport.
