About the Company

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Team Leader to join a busy and fast-paced customer services department based in Aldershot. This position would suit somebody with strong customer service, account management, or sales support experience who is confident managing corporate customer relationships, supporting a customer service team, and delivering exceptional service within a product-based environment. The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware, and confident working closely with both customers and internal departments to ensure a smooth customer journey from quotation through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate customer accounts and acting as the main point of contact for key customers.
  • Building and maintaining strong long-term B2B customer relationships.
  • Processing customer orders from quotation through to delivery.
  • Managing product enquiries and advising customers on suitable solutions.
  • Identifying opportunities to maximise customer retention, sales opportunities and account growth.
  • Handling customer complaints, escalations and complex enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Working closely with internal departments including Finance, Operations, Production and Logistics to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Supporting the Customer Service Manager with the day-to-day coordination and running of the Customer Services team.
  • Providing guidance, support and assistance to Customer Service Administrators.
  • Acting as an escalation point for customer service queries and complaints.
  • Assisting with the development and performance of team members.
  • Ensuring customer accounts remain within agreed commercial terms.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and internal systems.
  • Providing consistently high levels of customer service within a fast-paced environment.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience within Customer Service, Account Management, Sales Support, Customer Success or a similar customer-focused commercial role.
  • Previous experience supporting, mentoring, coordinating or supervising team members would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience managing B2B or corporate customer relationships.
  • Experience working within a product-based, manufacturing, distribution, wholesale or similar environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify sales opportunities.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Confident handling challenging customer conversations, complaints and escalations.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Professional and confident telephone manner.
