We are recruiting for a Client Services Account Manager to join a successful and established business in High Wycombe.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships while coordinating projects and orders from initial brief right through to delivery.
You will primarily be looking after existing clients, including a key pharmaceutical account, ensuring projects are delivered accurately, on time and to the highest standard.
You’ll work closely with customers as well as internal production, operations, purchasing, warehouse, despatch and accounts teams, so you’ll need to be an excellent communicator who enjoys bringing everything together.
- What you’ll be doing
- Managing existing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Coordinating customer projects and orders from initial brief through to completion
- Preparing estimates and quotations
- Providing clear and accurate job instructions to operational teams
- Monitoring work in progress and proactively managing deadlines
- Keeping customers updated on project progress and delivery dates
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure projects remain on schedule
- Coordinating with external suppliers where required
- Checking specifications and proofs to ensure customer requirements are met
- Updating internal systems, dashboards and work-in-progress information
- Investigating and resolving any issues that arise
- Preparing completed jobs for accurate customer billing
- Identifying opportunities to introduce additional services to existing clients
- Supporting colleagues and the wider team when required
- What we’re looking for
You could already be working as an Account Manager, Account Executive, Client Services Executive, Customer Account Manager, Project Coordinator or Customer Service professional
Most importantly, you’ll be
- Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident managing multiple projects, orders and deadlines simultaneously
- Experienced in dealing with B2B customers
- Comfortable taking ownership and proactively progressing work
- A strong communicator by telephone, email and face-to-face
- Commercially aware with a natural approach to developing existing customer relationships
- Able to remain calm and find solutions when problems arise
- Confident using Microsoft Office and learning internal systems
- A genuine team player
Experience within print, packaging, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, logistics, distribution or another order/project-led environment would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
Candidates from other sectors with strong transferable client management, project coordination and order-processing experience are encouraged to apply.
