p Buyer Merchandiser /p p br /p p Location: Aldershot, Hampshire /p p Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits /p p br /p p Are you an experienced Buyer or Merchandiser looking for an opportunity where you can make a genuine impact within a growing product-based business? /p p br /p p Were recruiting on behalf of an established and successful organisation looking for a commercially minded Buyer Merchandiser to join their Procurement team. This is a varied role combining purchasing, supplier management, stock planning and merchandising, offering the opportunity to influence product availability, supplier performance and inventory strategy. /p p br /p p This is an office-based position where youll work closely with Procurement, Sales, Finance and Quality teams to ensure products are sourced competitively, delivered on time and maintained at optimum stock levels. /p p br /p p Key Responsibilities /p ul li Manage purchase orders from placement through to delivery. /li li Build strong relationships with UK and international suppliers. /li li Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics providers to coordinate shipments. /li li Monitor supplier performance, lead times and delivery schedules. /li li Forecast stock requirements and maintain optimum inventory levels. /li li Analyse sales trends and demand to support purchasing decisions. /li li Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers. /li li Source new suppliers and products in line with business requirements. /li li Work closely with internal departments to resolve supply issues and maintain excellent service levels. /li li Ensure product and stock information is accurately maintained within the ERP system. /li li Produce reports and analyse purchasing and stock performance. /li /ul p br /p p About You /p p br /p p Youll ideally have experience within a buying, merchandising, procurement or supply chain environment and enjoy working in a fast-paced commercial business. /p p br /p p Youll also have: /p ul li Previous buying, merchandising or procurement experience. /li li Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills. /li li Experience with stock forecasting and inventory planning. /li li Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. /li li Confident communication skills with the ability to build relationships across departments. /li li Strong Excel and systems experience (ERP/Sage experience would be advantageous). /li li A proactive and commercially minded approach. /li /ul p br /p p Whats on Offer? /p ul li Competitive salary /li li Workplace pension /li li 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) /li li Additional annual leave purchase scheme /li li Funded training and development /li li Employee referral scheme /li li Long service recognition /li li Cycle storage /li li Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm /li li Office-based role in Aldershot /li /ul
