My rapidly expanding client based in Farnham are looking for a hands-on Head of Production to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. This role oversees the full production process, including fermentation and/or food production through to packaging/bottling.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily production operations
- Plan and schedule production to meet output and quality targets
- Drive efficiency across labour, equipment, and materials
- Lead, develop, and motivate production teams
- Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and GMP standards
- Troubleshoot issues and lead problem-solving on the shop floor
- Monitor KPIs (output, waste, downtime, cost) and drive improvements
- Work cross-functionally with supply chain, quality, and engineering
Requirements
- Proven production leadership experience in food, brewing/fermentation or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards
- Hands-on leadership style in fast-paced manufacturing
- Strong problem-solving and team management skills
- Must drive due to location
