Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Be fully conversant with all aspects of payroll legislation including: SMP, SPP, ShPP, SSP, PAYE, Pensions and NI.
  • Ensure HR Policies are applied with regards to payroll and adhered to when calculating employee benefits.
  • Record and process accurately pay related records on ADP ensuring the appropriate paperwork is available and with the correct level of authorisation.
  • Process accurately all payroll deductions and notify the appropriate parties (Pensions, Employee Donations, Bupa, Healthshield, Union Subscriptions etc.).
  • Provide cover for Payroll & Pensions Manager when absent.
