You will collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and implement best practices that ensure the highest standards of safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Your mission is to deliver excellence through optimised processes and innovative engineering solutions. You will do this by leveraging your expertise to analyse, design, and implement improvements that streamline operations, reduce waste, and elevate product quality.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Run projects from start through to handover which includes but not limited to layout preparation, equipment commissioning & compiling supporting documentation.
- With the use of CIP & LEAN principles, actively identify ways to reduce production costs, improve efficiencies and yield.
- Compile and manage supporting documentation for all new and existing processes ie: SOP's, FC's, BOM's, PFMEA, ECR's, ECO’s, MCD's etc.
- Proactive problem-solving support of reoccurring production issues including downtime, performance and quality issues using various problem-solving techniques eg; 5Y's, Fishbone, 8D's, etc.
- Provide day to day support to production leaders.
- Promote the highest Health and Safety standards to always ensure a safe working environment.
- Work closely with inter departments eg; supply chain, production and technical team to enable continuous improvement of all performance & quality related KPI's in line with the company objectives.
- Manage and deliver NPD activities from concept through to production launch, including process design, validation, capacity planning, and handover to operations.
- Run KFA (Key focus area) projects which are aligned with the company strategic objectives.
