The mission of the PLM Manager is to own, govern, and continuously improve the organisationâs Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capability, ensuring that Design Data Manager (DDM), SolidWorks CAD, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (ERP) operate as a coherent, reliable, and auditable ecosystem.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Own and develop the organisationâs PLM ecosystem (DDM, SolidWorks, Dynamics 365), gaining deep expertise in PLMâERP integration, system architecture, and lifecycle governance.
- Lead configuration management and data governance, building strong capability in controlled product data, traceability, and auditâready processes within a regulated environment.
- Create and use PLM reporting and KPIs to improve data integrity and business insight, developing advanced skills in data analysis and Power BI reporting.
- Drive engineering change and crossâfunctional process improvement, strengthening change management, stakeholder engagement, and systemsâthinking skills.
- Build capability through training, coaching, and continuous improvement, with clear opportunities to grow technical leadership, influence, and PLM strategy ownership.
What you will need to succeed:
- Strong expertise in PLM systems, data structures, and data governance.
- Proven ability to lead engineering change and configuration management effectively and pragmatically.
- Excellent crossâfunctional communication and stakeholder management skills across the Business.
- Solid understanding of regulatory and standards requirements.
- Demonstrated capability in process improvement and change management, driving adoption, simplification, and continuous improvement.
