The main purpose of this role is to lead and support the Process Engineering function, helping the team deliver effective day‑to‑day operations while improving processes, increasing capacity and supporting Apollo’s strategic growth.
In this role, you will:
- Lead, support and develop the Process Engineering team, helping colleagues understand priorities and work towards shared objectives.
- Identify, plan and deliver continuous improvement projects that improve manufacturing performance, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Support good process governance, including clear procedures, effective change management and successful delivery of New Product Development/Introduction activity, including FAT/SAT validation.
- Monitor and improve manufacturing capacity through data analysis, time studies and system optimisation.
- Work with colleagues across manufacturing and leadership teams to support operational excellence, business performance and future growth.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience leading, supporting and developing people within a manufacturing environment, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to analyse data, optimise processes and implement operational improvements.
- Good commercial awareness and the confidence to make balanced decisions that consider performance, cost and growth.
- A well‑organised and collaborative approach, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage a range of priorities.
