Responsibilities
- The duties and responsibilities in this job description are not restrictive and the post holder may be required to undertake any other duties which may be required from time to time.
- To undertake the full requirement of tasks as set out in the technical operator section of the skills matrix.
- To have the ability to perform first line fault finding, basic equipment calibration, set up and routine maintenance.
- Be able to read, understand and follow all required documentation, i.e., SOP’s, QCP’s, Product and Technical drawings.
- To achieve the targets and quality standards set out by Production Management.
- Work efficiently and effectively as an individual or as part of a team.
- Have the ability to work with cross‑functional and mixed‑ability teams.
- Provide daily support to meet customer’s daily expectations.
- Ensure that time and quality is of the essence in every activity.
- Maintain regular communication with the Production Leader to advise of any issues adversely affecting performance.
- Ensure critical issues are quickly recognised and resolved.
- Create an effective focused working relationship with key internal customers and suppliers.
- Maintain high levels of communication at all levels.
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety at all times.
- Keep work area clean and tidy.
- Ensure a “safe and secure” environment and 100% compliance with EMS and HASAW act 1974.
- Promote, demonstrate and maintain a quality culture including housekeeping, health and safety and teamwork by ensuring compliance with all Apollo procedures.
