The Communications Executive role reports to the Head of Internal Communications, working closely across the small Brand & Communications team in a matrix fashion, with an opportunity to actively contribute to brand, external and internal communications.
Halma’s Brand & Communications team is based in the UK, with members in the US, India and China. This is an opportunity for a purpose-driven individual with excellent attention to detail to join a small, high-performing team and help one of Britain’s Most Admired Companies tell its story to the people that matter most to its continued success.
Halma operates an integrated communications model spanning content & brand, external communications and internal communications. The team’s purpose is to:
- Tell the Halma story with clear and consistent messages to our key audiences: prospective talent, potential acquisitions, investors, and employees.
- Attract the right talent and engage employees with compelling content delivered through digital platforms and major events.
- Attract and engage new acquisitions through targeted campaigns and high quality content.
- Attract and engage investors through results content, ARA, and webinars.
- Provide strategic communications support to our companies to help them grow.
The role:
- Responsible for the day-to-day running of Halma's communications channels, both external and internal.
- Craft and curate high quality content, both written and visual, that is on brand and in line with Halma’s key messages.
- Own quality control for all channels, ensuring a consistently high standard.
- Co-ordinate communications for Halma events.
- Work with the wider communications team to develop and execute communications plans across all Halma's channels.
- Develop high-quality presentation materials.
- Adapt communications for diverse audiences, mindful of cultural, linguistic, and time zone differences.
- Deliver projects from inception to completion, engaging multiple stakeholders.
- Analyse audience and business insights to refine communication strategies.
- Assess the impact of communication activities and adjust future efforts accordingly.
- Provide ad hoc support across the communications function as required.
Experience in a communications and/or content management role.
Interest in strategic communications across multiple disciplines - brand, external, and internal.
Experience in creative design and digital communications.
Ability to research complex topics and distil key points.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and active listening abilities.
Proactive, adaptable, and resilient, with a keen eye for detail.
