As a member of the Shipping Team, you will be responsible for the accurate shipment of goods to our customers all over the world.
- Salary up to £35,000 per annum.
- Provide support to the team leader and administration team, managing a high volume of domestic and export shipments
- Manage customer orders post packing through to delivery, liaising with customers and internal teams to confirm requirements, resolve enquiries and ensure an excellent service
- Maintain accurate customer, product and transactional data within the ERP system
- Prepare and verify export and customs documentation, ensuring full compliance with current regulations and required timescales
- Be aware of and prepare for incoming regulation changes for both origin and destination requirements
- Produce export-related paperwork including Chamber of Commerce declarations, supplier declarations and support attestations
- Coordinate transport bookings, calculate pallet requirements and work closely with logistics providers to ensure timely collections and deliveries
- Communicate production requirements, order updates and schedule changes across departments to support efficient operations
- Create and maintain product data and technical information, ensuring accuracy across internal systems and customer documentation
- Investigate and resolve product, labelling, delivery and administrative queries from customers and internal stakeholders
- Prepare reports, analysis and operational information for management, maintaining accurate records and filing systems
- Draft professional correspondence, emails and documentation, and participate in departmental meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all administrative, operational and compliance activities are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with company procedures
