Area Supervisor School Cleaning Services
Location: West Sussex
Salary: £20,000 per annum (paid on a pro rata basis)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm 9:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time plus Scheduled School Deep Cleans During School Holiday Periods.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated Area Manager to join our growing team.
The Role
As an Area Manager, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of school cleaning contracts, ensuring our high standards are maintained across all sites. You will support Site Supervisors and Cleaning Operatives, carry out regular quality inspections, train new employees, and ensure all company procedures are followed.
This is a hands-on management role that requires excellent organisation, leadership, and communication skills. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Office Team to ensure contracts are delivered to the highest standard while maintaining excellent customer service for our schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of school cleaning contracts across West Sussex.
- Carry out regular site inspections and quality audits.
- Support, motivate, and manage Site Supervisors and Cleaning Operatives.
- Deliver training and ensure company procedures are followed.
- Manage employee attendance, performance, and wellbeing.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with schools and clients.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
- Complete management reports and site documentation.
- Support the Office Team and Directors with the day-to-day running of contracts.

- Previous management or supervisory experience.
