The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

Overview: This is a new school contract. £13.50 per hour (pro rata) | Monday to Friday, 4:00pm – 6:00pm (term time) + deep cleans during all half-term breaks.

About the Role: We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Working Site Supervisor to lead and support our cleaning team. This is a dual role involving both cleaning duties and supervisory responsibilities, with added key holder duties, ensuring the site is cleaned to a high standard and secured safely.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning Duties: Perform daily cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitising, bin emptying, and toilet cleaning. Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the school. Report any damages, repairs or safety issues promptly.
  • Supervisory Duties: Lead and support a small team of cleaners. Allocate and monitor cleaning tasks and ensure cleaning schedules are followed. Train new team members and oversee cleaning quality and performance. Communicate effectively with management and report any staff or site issues. Complete and submit timesheets or check attendance.
  • Key Holder Duties: Unlock and/or lock the school premises as required. Ensure all alarm systems are correctly set and the building is secure. Carry out checks to ensure windows and doors are locked and all cleaning areas are safe before locking up.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience in school or commercial cleaning.
  • Experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
  • Trustworthy and responsible, with experience in a key holder role (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
  • Understanding of health & safety and COSHH (training will be provided).
  • Good time management and communication skills.
  • Enhanced DBS.
