VorentaGroupbringstogetherHallmarkVeterinary&ComplianceServicesandMeat&Livestock Classification(MLC),providingspecialistservicesandresourcingsolutionsacrosstheUKagrifoodsector.
WorkingwithorganisationsincludingDefra,APHA,theFoodStandardsAgencyandleadingfoodproducersandretailers,weplayavitalroleinprotectingfoodsafety,animalwelfareandpublichealth.
TheRole
AsourHealth&SafetyManager,you'llberesponsiblefordeveloping,implementingandcontinuouslyimprovingourhealthandsafetymanagementsystemsacrossmultiplesites.
Yourresponsibilitieswillinclude:
Leadinginvestigationsintoincidentsandimplementingpreventativeactions.
MonitoringlegislativechangesandensuringongoingcompliancewithUKHSErequirements.
ManaginghealthandsafetyaspectsofourvehiclefleetandPPEprogramme.
Workingcloselywithoperationalmanagerstoembedapositivesafetyculturethroughoutthe organisation.

We'relookingforsomeonewhoenjoystakingownership,canworkindependentlyandhastheconfidenceto influencestakeholdersatalllevels.
You'llideallyhave:
ArecognisedNEBOSHqualification(orequivalent).
Experiencemanaginghealthandsafetyacrossmultiplesitesorfield-basedoperations.
StrongknowledgeofUKhealthandsafetylegislationandISO45001.
AfullUKdrivinglicenceandwillingnesstotravelnationally.
Abackgroundinmanufacturingwouldbehighlyadvantageous,particularlywithinthefoodormeatprocessing industry,althoughthisisn'tessential.We'reequallyinterestedincandidateswiththerightattitude,strong technicalknowledgeandahands-onapproach.
