About the Role: Are you a passionate and qualified Chef looking for a rewarding role where you can work with fresh seasonal food and make a real difference in people's lives? We are seeking a dedicated Head Chef to join our team at Hallmark Care Homes, where quality of care is at the heart of everything we do.
As a Head Chef, you will have the opportunity to deliver hotel/restaurant standards without the split shifts and long weeks. You will have full autonomy in creating nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus tailored around our residents' preferences. Working with fresh produce, you will cook high-quality and wholesome dishes, ensuring that every meal is cooked to the highest standards.
Your Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Tailor menus around residents' preferences and ensure person-centred hospitality.
- Culinary Excellence: Work with fresh produce to create high-quality and wholesome dishes that meet our residents' dietary needs.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, inspire, and develop a team of culinary professionals.
- Budget Management: Work within budget constraints while maintaining high standards of food quality.
- Audits and Stock Control: Complete regular audits and manage stock control to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
