Working as part of a highly committed team at Hallmark, the Deputy Care Home Manager is one of the key roles within our homes and is vital support for our General Managers. As Deputy Care Home Manager, your gentle touch will put the residents' care and wellbeing at the heart of everything you do. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead care delivery in the home, ensuring continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of residents’ care.
- Ensure clinical and care team are adhering to the requirements of their codes of conduct.
- Have an adaptable and flexible approach to the role and nature of a care home environment.
- Motivate, engage, and exercise leadership throughout the team with an open and relaxed communication style.
- Achieve a high standard of clinical care by auditing, analysing trends, and directing the care team to deliver great results.
- Communicate effectively with CQC, Social Services, and the Safeguarding teams.
- Implement action plans for improvement and build a reputation of high-quality care delivery for the home.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse or RMN with active NMC PIN and strong clinical skills.
- Proven experience of post-qualification practice in a health and social care setting with older people.
- Good IT skills and confidence in computer-based work.
