What Will You Do?

  • Building meaningful relationships with residents and getting to know what matters to them.
  • Providing personal care and practical support, always protecting residents’ dignity, privacy, independence and choice.
  • Helping residents with everyday routines and activities while encouraging them to remain as independent as possible.
  • Supporting residents to enjoy meaningful activities, hobbies and social opportunities.
  • Observing residents and reporting any changes in their health or wellbeing to your line manager.
  • Supporting a safe environment by raising concerns relating to health, safety, safeguarding, incidents or maintenance.

Most importantly, you’ll help create an environment where residents feel valued, heard, respected and at home.

What We're Looking For

You don’t need experience to start your career with us. What matters most is who you are, how you treat others. We’re looking for people who are:

  • CaringRespectful EmpatheticReliableAmbitiousCommittedInterested in building a long-term leadership career in care.

Experience caring for a family member, friend or someone living with dementia can be helpful, but it isn’t essential. We’re more interested in your attitude, values and potential.

You’ll also need GCSE Maths and English at Grade 5 or above.
