Salary: £32,000 per annum, based on a 40-hour working week, with additional overtime paid at £15.50 per hour.

As a Sous Chef, you'll collaborate with our Head Chef to elevate our culinary offerings to new heights, using only the freshest seasonal ingredients to craft nutritious, flavourful, and well-balanced menus tailored to the preferences of our residents.

The Ideal Sous Chef:

  • Warm and Personable: Genuinely cares for residents' well-being and fosters a welcoming dining environment.
  • Culinary Qualifications: Holds City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent culinary qualifications.
  • Nutrition Enthusiast: Demonstrates a good understanding of nutrition and the art of working with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • Engagement: Engages with residents to design appetising and nutritious menus that cater to their preferences.
  • Food Safety: Maintains a good understanding of HACCP food safety standards, ensuring the highest levels of hygiene and safety.
