About You

  • Culinary Skills: You hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent culinary qualifications and have a passion for cooking.
  • Nutrition-Focused: You understand the importance of nutrition and love working with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • Resident Engagement: You enjoy interacting with residents to design appetising, nutritious menus that reflect their preferences.
  • Food Safety Champion: You have a solid understanding of HACCP standards and maintain the highest levels of hygiene and safety.

  • Supporting Kitchen Leadership: Assist the Head Chef and confidently manage the kitchen in their absence, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Menu Innovation: Contribute to creating exciting, well-balanced menus that delight our residents.
  • Hands-On Cooking: Prepare high-quality dishes using fresh produce, showcasing creativity and skill.
  • Stock & Budget Control: Help manage stock efficiently and work within budget guidelines without compromising quality.
