About the role
The new Head of AI will lead the development and delivery of Hallmark Luxury Care Homes’ Artificial Intelligence strategy. This pivotal role will shape how AI enhances resident experience, supports care delivery, improves operational efficiency, and empowers our teams across all functions. As a champion for AI adoption, the Head of AI will identify and deliver quick wins to build confidence and momentum, while establishing a long-term roadmap for AI and intelligent systems.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with Hallmark’s mission.
- Identify priority areas for AI adoption and create a roadmap balancing short-term wins with long-term transformation.
- Lead pilot projects and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the value of AI in care.
- Establish clear measures of success for AI initiatives, tracking both financial and non-financial benefits.
- Act as an ambassador for AI across Hallmark, inspiring colleagues at all levels to adopt AI tools.
- Work with the Exec and leadership teams to ensure AI initiatives are embedded.
- Developing policies and frameworks for AI governance, ensuring compliance (legally & ethically).
- Manage external relationships with technology partners, vendors, and advisors.

- Strong understanding of AI technologies, trends, and their practical application in healthcare, hospitality, or related service sectors.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire confidence across senior leaders, frontline teams, and external partners.
- Track record of designing and delivering training programs that encourage adoption of new tools and ways of working.
- Knowledge of AI ethics, governance, and compliance frameworks.
