As a Freelance Production Designer you will support a busy and highly productive design studio. Taking artworks and style guides from our Ideation studio, you will be developing products across a range of product formats working with Design Managers and Creative Services Manager. The briefs vary, taking concepts to successful design solutions by integrating editorial, photography, process, type and hand lettering creative elements, to more fast-paced reformatting & re-artworking existing design files. Either way you will contribute significantly to the output of market-leading commercially viable design solutions across a wide range of product formats so you will need a good level of design sensibility.
Responsibilities:
- Briefs answered to a high technical standard and craftsmanship, within focused deadlines and critical date paths.
- Self-motivated to achieve results, maintain a high level of productivity.
- Works on a wide variety of directed briefs from simple to complex, that utilise, enhance, reformat and amend assets.
- Possesses aesthetic, decision-making, and problem-solving skills in order to make astute and timely design decisions.
- Demonstrates high competency in ADOBE craftsmanship and digital accuracy.
- Creates successful and commercially viable products that meet Hallmark's product leadership standards.
- Creates technically and aesthetically accurate secondary process files.
Within commutable distance of our Dawson Lane, Bradford site to collect equipment and undertake training. Don’t worry, we’re a few minutes drive from the motorway. We’ve plenty of onsite parking. Flexible and open to basing yourself at home and our Dawson Lane studio. Available to offer a minimum of 21 hours per week.
