Job Description

Summary of Role\\nYou will be responsible for the service, PPM and technical support of fire alarm systems.\\nThis is an excellent opportunity to develop and progress you career within the fire engineering sector working on the latest technology in fire alarms.\\nYou will receive full training on our range of products either via our chosen manufacturers, industry recognised training courses or via our in-house product training facility.\\nWhat you will be doing\\n * Conducting servicing, PPM and technical support on fire alarm systems for our clients.\\n * Service and maintain Fire Alarm Systems – Addressable and conventional\\n * You may be required, on occasion to provide cover in other areas and stay away.\\nWhat we will need from you\\n * Proven & demonstrable experience in fire alarm systems maintenance gained over a number of years (essential).\\n * Familiar with and understand BS5839 standards (essential)\\n * FIA or equivalent training is highly desirable.\\n * Hold a full UK Driving Licence (essential).\\n * Provide a professional service at all times demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, quality and customer service (essential)\\n * Able to work independently, with little supervision but also able to work successfully as part of a team (essential).\\n * Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with a range of customers/clients/internal colleagues (essential).\\n * Reliability and punctuality qualities are essential to this role.\\nWhat you can expect in return\\n * Salary Range competitive & negotiable depending on level of experience\\n * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays\\n * Contributory company pension scheme\\n * Company Van\\n * Mobile phone\\n * Hours: 36.5 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8.45 – 16.40, Friday 8.45 – 4pm)\\n * You will be required to work on a call out rota including standby rates.\\n * Overtime opportunities are available\\nPlease note: You may be required to undertake a DBS check as part of your job role at Hall & Kay.\\nAbout Us\\nAt Hall & Kay, we deliver complex fire protection and security solutions to protect what matters most to our clients.
