To analyse financial and operational data to provide actionable insights that drive business performance, optimise service delivery, and support strategic decision-making across the organisation. Bridge the gap between finance, operations, and business units to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

What you will be doing:

  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances, trends, and drivers across service lines, business units, and regions.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and analyse operational metrics including service delivery efficiency, utilisation rates, productivity, quality indicators, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for operational initiatives and improvement projects.
  • Track and report on operational KPIs, creating dashboards and scorecards for stakeholder visibility.
  • Collaborate with operations, service delivery, sales, and leadership teams to understand business challenges and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Support business case development for new services, contracts, investments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide analytical support during contract negotiations, pricing reviews, and client profitability assessments.
  • Maintain and enhance financial and operational reporting systems, dashboards, and data visualization tools while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple sources.
  • Automate routine reporting processes, develop ad-hoc analyses for management requests, and recommend improvements to analytical processes, reporting frameworks, and performance measurement systems.

What we will need from you:

  • Professional qualifications in Accounting, Business, Economics, or related quantitative field (or progress toward them) preferred but not essential depending on work-related experience (essential).
  • 3-5 years in financial analysis, management accounting, business analysis, or commercial finance role, ideally within a service organisation (essential).
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering impactful insights that influenced business decisions and experience working with large datasets and reporting systems (essential).
  • Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modeling (essential).
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) (essential).
  • SQL or database query skills desirable.
  • Understanding of financial statements, management accounting principles, and cost analysis (essential).
  • Statistical analysis and forecasting techniques (essential).
  • Experience with Corrigo desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to synthesize complex data from multiple sources into coherent insights (essential).
  • Commercial acumen to understand business drivers, operational realities, service business models, cost structures, and value drivers (essential).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly and create compelling presentations and visualisations for diverse audiences (essential).
  • Understanding of operational processes, service delivery metrics, and client and commercial mindset (essential).
  • Collaborative team player who builds strong cross-functional relationships, adaptable in fast-paced environments with competing priorities, and maintains high integrity handling confidential information.
