Here at Halliwell Jones Ltd we have an exciting opportunity for a MOT Tester. The position is located at our Southport Centre consisting of Aftersales and BMW/MINI and KIA Sales.

Your Responsibilities
- To conduct MOT inspections and issue MOT documentation in line with DVSA guidelines.
- To ensure security of MOT certification process and implement the MOT scheme in compliance with DVSA and company requirements.
- To repair and report any anomalies on vehicles.
What we’re looking for
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (C&G/BTEC).
- Strong technical knowledge, including MOT Testing Guide & special notices.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Willing to learn and stay up to date with technical developments.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Accurately records labour and workshop consumables on job cards.
- Good organisational, time management, and admin skills.
- Maintains a clean and efficient workspace.
