Halliday Marx have partnered with a media firm to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent basis. Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home).
Responsibilities
- Producing a full set of Management Accounts involving a divisional P&L/Balance Sheet
- Actual vs budget variance analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting for 1 entity
- Liaising with the auditors
- Preparation of journals, prepayments and accruals
- Producing the statutory accounts
- Manage the audit process
- Reconciliation of payroll to the general ledger
- VAT submissions
- Tax accounting duties
Requirements
- Part Qualified in either ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Minimum of 3 years experience producing a full set of Management Accounts
- Consolidation experience
- Strong Excel skills (Vlookups and Pivot Tables as a minimum)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
