Senior Management Accountant

Halliday Marx have partnered with a media firm to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent basis. Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home).

Responsibilities

• Producing a full set of Management Accounts involving a divisional P&L/Balance Sheet
• Actual vs budget variance analysis
• Budgeting and forecasting for 1 entity
• Liaising with the auditors
• Preparation of journals, prepayments and accruals
• Producing the statutory accounts
• Manage the audit process
• Reconciliation of payroll to the general ledger
• VAT submissions
• Tax accounting duties

Requirements

• Part Qualified in either ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Minimum of 3 years experience producing a full set of Management Accounts
• Consolidation experience
• Strong Excel skills (Vlookups and Pivot Tables as a minimum)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
