Halliday Marx have partnered with a growing media company to recruit a Group Financial Accountant.
Duties:
- Supporting the group consolidation and the preparation of group financial reporting, including reporting by function.
- Owning monthly financial reporting, including (but not limited to) automating functional reporting, implementing regional and product-level P&L reporting, and supporting financial KPI reporting aligned to agreed business strategies.
- Preparing and reviewing management accounts in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
- Managing and developing two direct reports, overseeing their workload and reviewing their output.
- Reviewing the work of junior team members, providing quality control and developing the team.
- Partnering with Commercial Finance to support reporting, analysis, and business decision-making.
- Leading the audit transition.
- Addressing key areas of focus identified during private equity due diligence, including: Incentives liability and escheatment, Sales tax compliance, Section 382 analysis for the use of US NOLs.
