Halliday Marx have partnered with a premium hospitality business to hire a Finance Assistant / Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis in Central London. The role requires 5 days a week in the office with a salary of £35-38k plus study support.
Are you an up-and-coming future legend of a finance team? Do you have 6-24 months experience as an Accounts Clerk / Assistant and want to STEP UP? This role will turn you into an Assistant Accountant, providing opportunities for growth and increased responsibility.
Duties:
- Accounts Payable – full function
- Collect, process and document daily banking
- Deal promptly with discrepancies
- Prepare payment runs
- Generate journals
- Deal with the operations team
- Assist with managing month end processes
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
- Credit Card reconciliation
You will have:
- Minimum 6 months experience as an Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant
- The desire to STEP UP
- Strong Excel knowledge
- The desire to work in the office 5 days a week
