An outstanding opportunity to change your life has arisen with one of our exceptional international accountancy clients. They want to hire a French speaking apprenticeship accountant on a permanent basis.
4 days work, 1 study day per week. Hybrid working with offices in Central London.
Responsibilities:- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts for UK and French-speaking clients.
- Support the bookkeeping process using software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
- Help maintain client records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with both UK and French accounting standards.
- Liaise with French-speaking clients via email, phone, and video calls.
- Support in processing VAT returns, payroll, and other compliance work.
- Collaborate with senior accountants to complete audit and year-end reporting tasks.
- Undertake general administrative duties as required.
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is essential.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting and finance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to study towards an AAT or ACCA qualification (supported by the firm).
- Good A level results, ideally in mathematical/scientific subjects.
