Junior Commercial Finance Analyst

My client is a fast growing marketing company and are looking for a Junior Commercial Finance Analyst to join the team.

Duties Include:
\\n\\n
- \\n\\t
- Daily Bookings reporting including salesforce report generation and ensuring bookings and cancellations are correctly reported
- Report on commercial performance across a number of KPIs
- Management of the month end process for Revenue and cost recognition line with Sermo’s accounting policy, including journal postings
- Analyse data sets and model scenarios to draw out understanding of the business performance and deliver commercial insight and advice to support the company strategic goals
- Financial Support and Ad-Hoc Analysis for wider finance and across the business, includng Sellers and Client Success Directors
- Assisting with the yearly audit, regarding your financial accounting responsibilities.

Requirements:

- Strong numerical and data analysis skills, with excellent attention to detail and a logical mindset
- A Self Starter with proactive and problem solving attitude
- Ability to build and improve upon financial models
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Able to demonstrate commercial acumen
- A great communicator with the ability to influence and empathise with people from both financial and non-financial backgrounds
- Finance Background desirable, with an understanding of Accounting principles either by qualification or experience
- Workings towards professional accounting qualification (CIMA or equivalent), or a desire to start
- Knowledgeable in business/management information systems (Excel to intermediate level a must, Power BI desirable).
