Group Financial Controller £85-90K + Bonus Fully Remote (once a month travel to head office in London) Halliday Marx have exclusively partnered with an international management consultancy and are looking for a Group Finance Controller to join the team.
Duties: Oversee Group consolidation and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements across multiple legal entities globally, including commentary on key variances.
Manage group audit and coordinate all local audits.
Manage a global team of finance professionals focused on local statutory accounting and compliance.
Work with relevant external parties such as tax consultants, tax authorities and auditors.
Lead process simplification and optimisation through greater reliance on systems.
This role will require creation of global accounting practices and procedures to bring all legal entities to one accounting standard.
This role will also drive continuous improvement of relevant accounting and operational finance processes to shorten the monthly closing cycle and streamline reporting.
