Halliday Marx have partnered with an exceptional international accounting firm to hire a French speaking apprenticeship accountant on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts for UK and French-speaking clients.
- Support the bookkeeping process using software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
- Help maintain client records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with both UK and French accounting standards.
- Liaise with French-speaking clients via email, phone, and video calls.
- Support in processing VAT returns, payroll, and other compliance work.
- Collaborate with senior accountants to complete audit and year-end reporting tasks.
- Undertake general administrative duties as required.
