My client is an international advertising company based in Central London and is looking for a Commercial Accountant to join the team.
Duties
- Supporting the Commercial Lead in ensuring the accuracy of net revenue reporting and contract profitability.
- Monitoring of commercial margins and ensuring that all sales transactions are processed and recognised in accordance with the company's IFRS 15 revenue policy.
- A solid understanding of IFRS 15 is essential to support accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- This highly visible position requires regular interaction with internal stakeholders, as well as senior-level staff members of the business and finance teams.
- As a commercial controller you are the co-pilot of the business, part of the core Business team and part of the Finance team.
- Support the client leads in developing and monitoring financial forecasts and profitability with their engagements on a weekly basis.
- Ensure accounting compliance for Net Revenue and COS reporting.
- Act as the primary point of contact for gathering audit evidence (contracts, proof of delivery, system screenshots) for IFRS 15 testing samples.
- Ensuring that the business complies with Group policies and Financial Control best practices.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Part-Qualified (/ACCA/CIMA) or a Finance/Accounting Graduate active in their studies.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
