My client is a multi-national media company and are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their Finance Operations team. Financial Operations provides professional financial support to a range of stakeholders as part of the Finance function.
Duties:
- Manage end-to-end intercompany accounting processes, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and resolution of discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Oversee intercompany cash settlement activities, ensuring timely execution of payments, receipts, netting cycles, and alignment with treasury requirements.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations supported by appropriate testing, ensuring full compliance with internal controls and our minimum expected requirements, with fully evidenced and substantiated balances.
- Prioritise and manage workload effectively, balancing recurring deadlines with ad-hoc requests to deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timelines.
- Collaborate with key partners and stakeholders including our outsourced partner, other finance teams, divisional and group stakeholders where appropriate.
- Support the efficient delivery of internal and external audits.
