Halliday Marx have partnered with a rapidly growing media business to hire a Management Accountant on an interim basis for 6 months.
- Ownership of the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across multiple cost centres and revenue streams.
- Preparation of detailed profit & loss statements, with clear commentary on performance vs budget and prior periods.
- Delivery of insightful variance analysis, identifying key drivers across campaigns, projects, and client accounts.
- Partnering with client services and project teams to track campaign performance, revenue recognition, and profitability.
- Providing commercial insight into project margins, utilisation rates, and billable vs non-billable time.
- Monitoring and analysing revenue streams, including retainer-based, project-based, and performance-driven income.
- Working closely with the wider finance team to ensure balance sheet integrity and resolve any discrepancies.
- Supporting year-end processes and audit, including preparation of schedules and responding to auditor queries.
- Collaborating with non-finance teams to improve financial awareness and understanding of key metrics.
Minimum of 2 years experience within Management Accounts.
