Job Duties:
- Under broad supervision, leads or manages one or more internal, outsourced or customer funded projects which may involve multiple disciplines, departments or Centers.
- Develops and negotiates approval for the project charter and scope, assists in financial analysis, ensures completion of technical and detailed product specifications, manages project creep and ensures complete and accurate project release.
- Manages project activities across functional groups, Centers and organizations.
- Provides and applies Project Management processes and methods to all projects they are involved in, including developing and owning Project Plans to track and manage projects.
- Delivers Project Design Engineer input and diligence into all projects.
- Provides updates to end customer in the form of reports or presentations, to an agreed schedule.
- Cooperation with, and support of engineering functions such as procurement and test and evaluation is desirable, with training and awareness provided.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience and skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering with a minimum of 7 years of oil and gas industry experience.
