Job Duties:

  • Under broad supervision, manages one or more large internal, outsourced or customer funded projects involving multiple disciplines, departments or Centers.
  • Develops and negotiates approval for the project charter and scope, assists in financial analysis, ensures completion of technical and detailed product specifications, manages project creep and ensures complete and accurate project release.
  • Manages project activities across functional groups, Centers and organizations.
  • Independently accountable for a large staff or support arm of the organization or a single profit/loss or revenue center, major product line, or support function.
  • Provides updates to end customer in the form of reports or presentations, to an agreed schedule.
  • Cooperation with, and support of engineering functions such as procurement and test and evaluation is desirable, with training and awareness provided.

Qualifications:

  • Skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering or other related technical field with a minimum of 12 years of oil and gas industry experience, of which 6-11 years is in project management.
