Job Duties:
- Working under close supervision, applies thorough knowledge of production process, safety focus and critical quality issues to performance of general manufacturing tasks.
- Seeks to identify suggestions for process improvements.
- Determines requirements for current and next job at each machine, such as gauges, special tooling, fixtures, drawings, inserts, bungs, thread protectors, etc.
- May be required to read blueprints, perform varying levels of shop mathematics associated with machining operations, and perform inspection procedures to verify work.
Qualifications:
Requires two years of related machining experience.
