Overview
This role is responsible for developing accurate and efficient manufacturing processes to ensure raw materials and assemblies are transformed into high-quality finished products. The successful candidate will apply established techniques and procedures to deliver cost-effective and reliable solutions that meet production and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review engineering drawings and specifications to determine the required process plans, routings, tooling, and methods.
- Create detailed manufacturing sequences and instructions, defining stages of manufacture and routing steps necessary for completed assemblies and parts.
- Establish and maintain standard production times for processes, while identifying and recommending improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve issues, review impacts of process changes, and drive efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience preferred within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing methods and process planning.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
