Overview
In this role you diagnose, repair, calibrate, and inspect down-hole tool electronics and related equipment, under supervision. You will contribute to safe, efficient maintenance within Sperry Drilling Services, leveraging mechanical and electronics aptitude. The position supports critical down-hole tooling like Directional/RSS and M/LWD sensors, helping ensure reliability in demanding environments. This is a hands-on, growth-focused opportunity at a world-leading energy services company.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair down-hole tool electronics and related equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and inspections
- Assemble/disassemble down-hole tools such as M/LWD and Logging While Drilling tools
- Work under supervision to ensure safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of duties
Key requirements
- Technical school certificate or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of relevant repairs/maintenance experience
- Associate degree or higher preferred
- Experience with down-hole tool electronics may be relevant
- Down-hole tool electronics diagnosis and repair
- Calibration and inspections of down-hole equipment
- Mechanical and electronics aptitude
- Computer skills related to tool diagnostics
- Assembly/disassembly of M/LWD and Logging While Drilling tools
