Overview

In this role you diagnose, repair, and calibrate down-hole tool electronics and related equipment, including Directional/RSS and M/LWD sensors, under supervision. You may specialize in mechanical, electronics, and computer skills and assembly/disassembly of MWD/LWD tools. You work to keep operations safe, efficient, and reliable. This is a hands-on position within a leading global energy services provider, offering opportunities to grow technical expertise and contribute to well-tool performance.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair down-hole tool electronics and related equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations
  • Inspect equipment for safety and reliability
  • Assemble/disassemble MWD and/or LWD down-hole tools
  • Operate under direct supervision ensuring safe and efficient execution

Key requirements

  • Technical school certificate (or equivalent)
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience in equipment repair and maintenance
  • Associate degree or higher preferred
