Overview
In this role you diagnose, repair, and calibrate down-hole tool electronics and related equipment, including Directional/RSS and M/LWD sensors, under supervision. You may specialize in mechanical, electronics, and computer skills and assembly/disassembly of MWD/LWD tools. You work to keep operations safe, efficient, and reliable. This is a hands-on position within a leading global energy services provider, offering opportunities to grow technical expertise and contribute to well-tool performance.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair down-hole tool electronics and related equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations
- Inspect equipment for safety and reliability
- Assemble/disassemble MWD and/or LWD down-hole tools
- Operate under direct supervision ensuring safe and efficient execution
Key requirements
- Technical school certificate (or equivalent)
- Minimum one year of relevant experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Associate degree or higher preferred
