Overview
In this role you contribute to the maintenance and calibration of down-hole tool electronics used in drilling, under supervision to ensure safety and efficiency. You will work within a team to perform repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance, applying mechanical and electronics skills. The position sits in Sperry Drilling Services, supporting energy project delivery at scale. Responsibilities
- Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and related equipment
- Ensure work is conducted safely, efficiently, and effectively
- Specialize in areas such as mechanical/electronics aptitude, computer skills, and tool assembly/disassembly of PSL equipment
- Contribute to measurements and operations related to MWD and LWD down-hole tools
