Overview

In this role you diagnose, repair, and service down-hole tool electronics and related equipment used in directional, RSS, and M/LWD applications. You work under supervision to ensure safety, reliability, and efficient maintenance as part of the Sperry Drilling support team. The position emphasizes hands-on electronics and mechanical work, with a focus on quality and safety. This opportunity lets you contribute to critical well-completion operations in a global energy services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair down-hole tool electronics and associated equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and inspections
  • Work on Directional/RSS and M/LWD sensor assemblies
  • Ensure safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of duties
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed on tool maintenance

Key requirements

  • Technical school certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of relevant equipment repair and maintenance experience
  • Associate degree or higher preferred
  • electronic/equipment diagnostics
  • mechanical aptitude
  • computer skills
  • assembly/disassembly of down-hole tools (M/LWD, logging while drilling)
  • auditable maintenance procedures
