Job Duties and Responsibilities

Equipment Installation Coordinator – Cementing Equipment Installation

As an Equipment Installation Coordinator you will be responsible for planning, removal and installation of offshore cementing equipment including timeline and resource planning on fixed and mobile rig installations at locations globally.

Based in the Halliburton office in Aberdeen with site work to take place both offshore and within shipyards globally.

Key responsibilities for this role are outlined below

  • Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Performs own work and supervises a multidiscipline team onsite on the assigned projects.
  • Ensures that adequate safe systems of work are adopted for all activities under his/her direction, in accordance with company procedures and policies including the Permit to Work system.
  • Technical Requirements
  • Requires working knowledge of piping connections, valves, hose and fittings, thread type awareness.
  • Generates project bill of materials.
  • Requires good working knowledge of electrical block diagrams, installation and equipment drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic circuit drawings.
  • Performs site surveys and creates reports as part of company process.
  • Records as-build information and performs red line markups to engineering drawings for the onshore engineering team.
  • Under broad direction, installs and commissions Halliburton offshore cementing equipment to ensure continued service quality.
  • Supports troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems where applicable with relevant support.
  • Reporting Requirements

• Performs daily reporting from site inclusive of the following

  • Project updates for previous 24hrs and forecast for next 24hrs.
  • Recording timesheets for site personnel and equipment rentals.
  • Records lessons learned and compiles post job report.
  • Travel Requirements
  • Travel from home location to Halliburton office in Aberdeen.
  • Frequent international travel onshore and offshore.
  • General Requirements
  • Able to complete a BOSIET / HUET certificate*.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good writing skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Rigging and lifting experience.
  • Mechanical.
  • Electrical.
  • Organizational skills.

*Any training will be provided as required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years industry or related industry experience.
