- Job Duties
- Under broad direction, organizes and coordinates all activities associated with equipment at a single facility.
- Responsible for the R&M operations of the facility, including efficiency in people, inventory, and financial management, and ensures all operations are conducted safely and effectively.
- Develops and implements programs to ensure Safety, Service Quality, and increase equipment reliability.
- Develops, implements, and maintains processes and measures to insure the accuracy of SAP data.
- Supervises others' work directly.
- Coordinates work flow, administers policies, and is accountable for Repair & Maintenance (R&M) finances for the facility.
- Areas of specialization may include mechanical or electrical aptitude and performing major repairs & maintenance.
- Makes evaluations and recommendations for improvements on equipment based on maintenance history.
- Manages staffing and employee needs, and mentors and provides guidance to employees.
Qualifications
- Requires an Associate's Degree and seven years of experience in a related field, including experience in equipment repair and maintenance and management experience.
