The Paid Media Lead is responsible for overseeing a client portfolio, leading the paid media strategy, and managing both campaign delivery and client communication within a team of paid media specialists.

Purpose: Drive impactful, strategic paid media efforts for the client portfolio. Foster innovation and collaboration to align with client needs and agency goals. Mentor and support team members where required, fostering a positive team culture. Ensure client satisfaction and proactively pursue account growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Communication & Collaboration: Maintain open, cross-department communication, building strong client relationships.
  • Strategy & Campaign Delivery: Execute paid media strategies, identifying opportunities for growth within the team.
  • Thought Leadership & Mentorship: Promote agency visibility through thought leadership and foster team professional growth. Own overall paid media strategy and roadmap for clients, leading paid strategy within our client facing teams. Thinking beyond Google - producing strategies which extend across multiple channels. Manages paid media strategies end-to-end including research, implementation and reporting - working closely with colleagues on deeper research where needed. Identifies new opportunities and connects media plans to business plans to ensure commercial success.

Works closely with:

  • SEO and data teams to develop and implement unified search strategies
  • The Creative Team, ensuring UX and landing page best practices are being implemented
  • The Account Managers and Sales Teams, supporting with new business and upsell opportunities, including large client pitches
  • The Head of Paid Media in identifying service improvements and contributing to the objectives of the team as well as mentoring and training peers

Marketing: In this role, you will be expected to contribute both independently and collaboratively at the department level to drive the overall success of our marketing efforts. You will play an active role in thought leadership initiatives that support lead generation and help maximise the department’s impact. This includes contributing to a range of activities such as blogging, content creation, event support, and other marketing tasks. Your proactive involvement in these areas will be key to ensuring we consistently deliver high-quality marketing outputs and fully leverage the capabilities of the department.

Key Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide insights and ideas for campaigns and content
  • Stay informed on the latest digital marketing trends, sharing knowledge with colleagues and clients
  • Assist in executing marketing campaigns and content that drive results and meet client KPIs
