Hallam is looking for an Account Executive to join their team in Nottingham. The Account Executive at Hallam is a key entry-level position designed to provide hands-on experience in client service and digital marketing. Reporting to more senior team members, the Account Executive will assist in delivering exceptional client experiences, coordinating day-to-day account activities, and supporting the execution of digital marketing campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, highly organised, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Purpose:

  • Provide dependable support to senior team members in ensuring client satisfaction and the alignment of agency efforts with client objectives.
  • Assist in the coordination and delivery of digital marketing campaigns across a variety of channels.
  • Support administrative and project management tasks to ensure the smooth execution of client projects.
  • Contribute to maintaining strong client relationships by ensuring timely communication and quality deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Support and Coordination
    • Assist senior team members in managing client communications, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and updates.
    • Help maintain strong client relationships by demonstrating reliability and a client-first mindset.
    • Support the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring all documentation and initial requirements are in place.
  • Project Management Assistance
    • Support the coordination of project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation under the guidance of senior team members.
    • Track progress on projects and provide regular updates to both internal teams and clients.
    • Assist in preparing project documentation, including reports and meeting notes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Support in providing monthly budget burn-downs on retainers.
  • Account Monitoring and Reporting
    • Help report on the performance of campaigns, ensuring alignment with client objectives and KPIs.
    • Support senior team members in budget tracking and campaign analysis.
    • Identify potential issues and flag them to senior team members for resolution.
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective collaboration and alignment on client projects.
    • Assist in preparing clear and actionable client briefs and documentation.
    • Participate in client meetings and internal discussions, taking notes and following up on action items as needed.
  • Client Experience and Quality Control
    • Develop an understanding of client industries and goals to contribute meaningfully to conversations and strategy.
    • Ensure deliverables meet Hallam’s quality standards before they are sent to clients.
    • Support initiatives to improve processes and enhance overall client satisfaction.

KPIs:

  • Growth: Support the Account Director to grow accounts and unlock new opportunities.
  • Retention: Work closely with the Account Director to secure contract renewals for retainer clients.
  • Client Satisfaction: Contribute to high client NPS scores and positive feedback.
  • Project Support: Timely and accurate delivery of tasks and updates.
  • Collaboration: Positive feedback from senior team members and internal stakeholders.
  • Accuracy & Detail: High quality of documentation, reporting, and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both clients and colleagues.
  • A willingness to learn and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and supporting projects.
  • Foundational knowledge of digital marketing channels and best practices (e.g., PPC, SEO, social media).
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A detail-oriented approach to ensure quality and consistency in all tasks.
  • Team-oriented, with a focus on contributing to shared success.

Preferred Experience:

  • Internship or prior experience in a client-facing role, ideally within a marketing or digital agency.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and processes.
  • Exposure to digital marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, content marketing, and social media.
